Bishop Cotton Boys' School

Bishop Cottons is the brain-child of Bishop George Lynch cotton of Calcutta, whose vision was to set up institutes and educate the European and Eurasian children. The school in Bangalore was made possible due to the efforts of Rev. Samuel Thomas Pettigrew.
This school opened its doors to the world on 19th April 1865. Today, 148 years later, Cotton’s is thriving. With a well versed faculty and a beautiful campus it a school for dreams. Having been christened ‘Eton of the east’ Bishop cottons boys school stands tall as Bangalore’s leading school and one of the top three schools in the country.
It’s not just the curriculum and the amazing teaching staff that attracts students. The encourage sports like no other school. Numerous students here are State and National level athletes. Not to mention the other extra-curricular activities.

People from all walks of like graduated from here. The alumni includes everything from entrepreneurs, to soldiers, to teachers, to athletes.
